Hello ppl, this is my first post on MacRumors

I did a test whit my new Crucial ssd CT128M4SSD2 on my MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo whit the Black Magic Speed Test! Can you tell me if everything is correct in speed, i send a print screen whit the test.
I use premier pro cs6 and the video render is not so fast as expected!!
Any problem with that

Your MBP only has SATA 1.5Gbps so those speeds seem completely normal. Rendering is usually bottlenecked by the CPU, meaning that an SSD does not speed that up (though it speeds up a ton of other things)

How much of a difference would having a SATA II (instead of a SATA III) make on basic tasks like opening apps, web browsing, document editing, etc when using an SSD? I know for large file transfers it would be a huge difference but what about just day to day usage?

I really like the performance of my SSD, opens programs super fast, is perfect for normal use
In Adobe photoshop is too fast depends on the size of the photos.:) buy in video editing is to slow:mad:
