Anyone else have solutions for the insane fans?
I use it in clamshell mode all the time, connected to a 23" Apple Cinema Display.
I am kind of tired of the crazy fans. They're loud. Only thing that drowns it is headphones.
Maybe I should move back to my Mac Pro.
P.S. I've tried fan applications...none work well. And as always with the 15" MBP, I can't use the Intel HD GPU. it always defaults to the AMD GPU.
A simple task such as watching a netflix movie just kicks those fans up.
Check out the CPU usage when I have netflix movies up. At 7% CPU usage, does it need that much Fan speeds?
