MBP 2011 no boot after update 3

Hi

my mbp 2011 will not boot after lion preview 2 update 3
any ideas how to get it working again ?

does anyone else have this problem or has anyone with 2011 mbp have it running ?

boots to gears then just freezes and have to power off

Yeah, same here. Gets stuck at the loading gear then Kernel Panics.

So just like the previous update then. Glad i didn't bother keeping my Lion partition in the end.

remove the IO80211Family.kext file and it will boot again (but no WiFi).

Just thought I'd report DP3 is working just swimmingly on my 2011 17" MBP.

Same here. MBP 2009. DP2 works great but then when I update to DP3 it gets stucked at the login screen (I can enter my password but then it goes to a blue screen and again to the login screen). In safe mode it works, though.

How to remove a .kext file? Just delete?

sudo ditto --rsrc --extattr --qtn --acl --nocache --preserveHFSCompression /System/Library/Extensions/blahblahblah.kext /blahblahblah.kext

saves the "blahblahblah.kext" on your startup disk ("/"), and

sudo srm -rsz /System/Library/Extensions/blahblahblah.kext

removes the "blahblahblah.kext" from the system extensions folder.
