Hey everybody,
so I just received my 15" MBP i7 2.2 Ghz. I installed the latest version of chrome and surprisingly almost after I started my wallpaper went from the aurora to a plain blue one. I cannot change this back as long as the discrete gpu is running, when I click on an image nothing happens. When I close Chrome, however, I am able to switch it back.

And why does Chrome trigger the gpu switch anyway? I wasn't even opening a page.

Thanks,
Luka

I don't have that problem. You're sure you didn't change screen resolutions - or go to an external/etc?

Mine did that once but I don't know what triggered it. I started it up and the wallpaper was gone. I had to reselect everything.

If it's staying now, I wouldn't worry about it. It's most likely something that you did but didn't realize it.
