So my MBP 15" 2016 has started showing Flexgate signs, with horizontal lines appearing on screen when the lid is opened more than 40 degrees... very frustrating as the MBP is just 3 years old!

This happens exactly two years after the screen has been replaced by the local Apple authorized service center, as a free "recall" for the anti-glare keyboard marks on screen.

I thought they would use a replacement part which already SOLVES any potential Flexgate issues, but considering I now got Flexgate, I assume they used the original, bad screen type.

Am I eligible for another free screen replacement based on that that service center didn't use the screen part which is already designed to solve Flexgate ? Does Apple generally approves this ?

Thanks. I know the 15" is not (yet) in the recall program, and the problem I have isn't backlight but horizontal lines.

I'm asking if Apple agrees to repeat an old recall they made, if the screen part they used isn't the one which solves potential flex issues. They didn't use the most recent screen part probably, and that's why I got a flexgate now.

I think your best option is to take it to the service provider to find out.

I'm sure the local dealer will refuse to replace it at no cost, but maybe Apple's international customer support can approve this ? Do they usually tend to approve such cases?

I think because your MBP is not eligible for the program, you would be asked to pay the out-of-warranty fees to get this fixed. There is no international Apple Support; it's provided on a country-by-country basis. For countries that don't have Apple Support, they may be able to get support from a nearby country.

Thanks. This screen also has a serious dent caused by my MPB falling on the floor a year ago, but it worked great since then without issues and I also have a recorded video with the evidence for Apple. In case the 15" becomes included in the Flexgate recall program, will Apple still replace it, although it's clear it's was damaged at some point ?

Also, does the 13" recall include all monitor Flex issues, or only the backlight one ?

The link I posted for you above describes the issues that are covered by the program. I know you are hoping there will be a future program that might include your 2016 15" MBP, but it would be impossible to predict whether Apple will do that.
