MBP 2016 S.M.A.R.T. Status

It's been discovered, in the big battery thread, that S.M.A.R.T. Status appears to no be supported by the SSD in the 2016 MBP.

In the interest of establishing that this definitely isn't a fault, does anyone have a 2016 MBP with S.M.A.R.T. Status showing as 'Verified' in Disk Utility (select the drive itself at the top, not the volume below)?

It looks like NVMe drives (like the MacBook and the new MBPs) do not support SMART reporting on macOS. There's a screenshot on the MacBook which shows the same "Not Supported". http://www.anandtech.com/show/9136/the-2015-macbook-review/8

Phew, though yet another issue was brewing!

Can confirm my 2016 12" MacBook says "not supported" too.
