I'm getting some problem with my old Dell DA310: when i plug hdmi to the adapter, nothing happens. The same, tested on a Macbook Air M1, works perfectly.
So the problem is my mac.
After few searches, i was looking for the accessories setting and.. i do not have that option in my settings :-/

any clue?
Anyway, i tried the SCM reset but it keeps not working.
