Mbp 2019 thermal management i7 vs i9

Hello. I am interested in buying the machine with lower temperatures.

i7 - 2.6Ghz base clock, 6 cores
i9 - 2.3Ghz base clock, 8 cores

The i9 has lower frequency base clock. Is that means that it has lower idle temperature than i7? What about the average temperatures while using them?
 
The temperature is going to be roughly the same under all circumstances. Individual differences between CPUs will be larger than between the CPU models. On idle, you won't even notice that the laptop is on since its pretty much inaudible.

Can you explain a bit more what is that exactly that you are after?
