I have not used my mac in quite a while, been using Windows for a few years since I've been in school. But , I've decided to boot up my 2011 macbook pro 13" (i5) . I honestly want to put Mavericks on it because I remember just how simple the OS was. I dont like features, and I will choose stability every time.. I keep on hearing that OSX 10.11.6 was one of the most rock solid iterations of El Capitan , but im worried my system would slow down or have less battery time than installing Mavericks... Can anyone give some insight as to which operating system provides the best battery?? best performance ?? is one better suited for solid states ? i know that there are tweaks for Mavericks for using a solid state, but are they worth it ?
