I'm looking at getting a 30" cinema display to accompany my MBP and have a question about display calibration. I am using a Spyder for calibration. Accurate calibration is required since I will use both displays for processing images. I understand that the calibration profile for the MBP screen will be different from the profile for the 30" display. My question is: Will the MBP automatically detect that the 30" display is connected and use the appropriate calibration profile, or will I have to change the calibration profile manually each time I connect or disconnect the 30" display? Or is this something that is done by the Spyder software? Thanks.
