I was using seismac a while ago and noticed that everything read fine on my macbook pro except for the Y axis that read @ -1G. This implies to me that the accelerometer is upside-down or malfunctioning. So my question is should I be worried about such a thing and take it in for repair? It is still under the 1 year warranty. thanks for the input 🙂

you could try taking it in, but the main purpose of the accelerometer is to detect movements in the computer to protect the HD.
