Every time I reboot my computer, the speaker icon on the menu bar is greyed out and I can't change the system volume. I have to go into system preferences and change the input and output device from aggregate-audio-device to internal speakers and internal microphone.

This has started happening ever since I reinstalled Snow Leopard. This is really aggravating. Does anyone have a fix? And don't say to just put the computer to sleep.

[update]: I guess Snow Leopard doesn't keep point upgrades when a fresh install of it is done. I was at 10.6 before, but now at 10.6.2, the speaker issue is gone.
