I have the 13" MBP setup as a desktop with external monitor. Everything is great - it will be in that configuration ~90% of the time.

The machine is always plugged in now, the charge light is green suggesting it's fully charged but the battery meter always reads 99% (and text "Battery is charged".).

Do I need to do anything special for battery life? I've read that it should be completely drained and charged about once a month at least - is that it?

Thanks

First place to start is by reading your owners manual. And here are two great information letters about how to care for the battery correctly.

Thanks for the links - so it seems like once a month or so of letting it go down and back up should do the trick.
