MBP Back To School Promo?

I'm in the market for buying a new MBP, and I see that there is a promo for free Beats with the purchase of a Mac. However, I don't really want the Beats all that badly.

My question is: Would it be possible to, say, Buy the MBP w/ free Beats and then take the Beats to a retailer like Best Buy and return with no receipt for store credit?

What you're proposing is fraud, and no store will let you do it.

I wouldn’t say no store would let you do it- some stores would give you store credit and it would be 1. At manager discretion and 2. The lowest price in the last 30-60 days.

Why not sell the beats via craigslist, eBay or here in the marketplace ?
