Hey guys,

I have an old 2.33 C2D Penryn MBP that i just finished chanigng the thermal paste on. the problem is that now the backlight doesn't work. I have it running on an external monitor right now, but i just wanted to ask before I go ahead and order another LCD + inverter if there was anything on the motherboard itself that i could have messed up to have the backlight go out.

after all, i wasn't touching the lcd at all while working on it... any thoughts?
