Hi All,
I'm having issues with my MBP battery.

The battery has had 302 charge cycles and has a 96% health reading.

When i first got the computer 12 months ago I could nearly hold 4 hours of power and now it will only hold just over 2 hours...So why would my battery health be at 96% when the battery is only lasting the equivalent of 60%?

I can understand why the battery would have a low health after 302 charge cycles but since health claims to be at 96% I should be getting around 4 hours still....Any suggestions/reasons?

Done the calibrate as it says on the apple website, health is 95% but it still lasts just over 2 hours (2:20)

The same thing for me... When I first got the MBP, it was capable of doing 4.5hrs if not 5.

Now it barely lasts 3. Same kind of usage. 214 charge cycles clocked and a 94% health rating.

To add to this, would it be normal if my computer is pretty much idle and drawing Amperage (mA): -1482 ???

Because thats what it's doing.

7200 RPM HD probably effects that a little but not that much!

CPU usage is low....I might try reinstall...

Do any of you have the hi-res screen? perhaps that affects the battery life somewhat.

My Hi-res 2.4 15" i5 amperage, with just this open at half brightness with the backlit keyboard off is -1044.

I've never had the battery indicator tell me that I will get more than 7 hours.

EDIT: This comment was supposed to go in a different topic. I am a fool.
