Hi guys,

I've had my MBP for about 4 months now. The battery health has always been around the mid 90s for the entire time. I went on vacation for two weeks and left the laptop alone during that time. Now taht I'm back, I noticed that my battery health is at 61%. It's been around this mark for a few days now, and it it only lasts about 1.5hrs if it is not hooked up to the charger.

Is there any way this health can bounce back, or am I screwed?

defective battery. call up applecare and get them to send you a new one. A battery shouldnt be down to 60% after only 4 months.

How many cycles do you have?

Some will tell you to calibrate the battery. I'd try that first, but it usually results in lower health afterwards.
