i was thinking about installing vista so i defragged my HD with iDegfrag

ever since then (yesterday) my battery time in the top right says i have consistently under 2 hours of battery left even thought its at 90%

ive tried restarting
letting the battery completely drain

havent taken it out yet
even when i put the computer on better performance it will change it by 10 minutes

the computer is fairly new got it halfway through february and have done 66 cycles with 94% health
i was getting up to 5 hours...

update: i quit "ichat manager" or something in activity monitor and my batter went up to 2:50 :S
shucks any thoughts?

Yes. There is little need for maintenance on Mac, as OS X does a lot of the stuff for you, in the background.
