Hey all, I just wanted to ask how long does ya'lls battery life on your MBPs last when unplugged? I seem to only be getting about 2.5 hours when running smcFanControl with my fans set to 4500rpm. Could this be the reason for such a low battery life? Just wanna know your thoughts and how long ya'lls batteries last.

Why do you need your fans at 4500 RPM?

I have my fans set on the default and I can get about 4 hours on the 9400.

The reason for me setting it to 4500rpm for normal use is because the bottom of my MBP get pretty warm on default fan settings and it irritates me >_<. I usually watch movies on my MBP so thats why I have a higher normal setting for my fans. I just don't like my MBP warm. I have it in a Speck hardshell case as well so it gets hotter due to the bottom being enclosed. Setting the fans at 4500rpm keeps my computer at about 42C or so.
