MBP Battery Power Screen Dim

When running off of battery power, my screen will dim after a few minutes even though I have the setting turned off to do so, as well as sleep after a certain period turned off as well. I can't seem to figure out what is going on...

That was the comment I was going to make as well. See System Preferences/Energy Saver and have a good look at the two sliders. Also, be sure that you're looking at the "settings for battery."

Yes I am sure I have the settings correct
