just picked up a MBP 13" and this question has never occurred to me but does it hurt to leave it plugged in? I mean soon as the little light hits green should I right away unplug it?

will there be any damage done by leaving it plugged in???

Thanks!

It's fine to leave it plugged in after it's charged. It will not overcharge. Just don't leave it plugged in all the time, as the battery needs to be exercised to stay healthy. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:

I wouldn't leaved it plugged in for too long. The electrons constantly need to be moving to keep the battery lasting as long as possible. I killed my old MBP battery because I kept it plugged in most of the time.
