Has anyone noticed that their case makes slight cracking / creaking noises from time to time? Usually this happens after a heat cycle, so when the MBP gets hot and then cools down after a render.

I replaced the RAM and HDD so the bottom came off once, but I don't see what would be making these creaks. Wasn't this something the aluminum uni-body supposed to stop?

do you mean a click noise?
because mine seems to do that as well occasionally :(

I've just recently noticed mine doing this too. I've done a lot of modding to the internals (RAM, SSD, obtibay..) so the bottom cover has been off many times. If i hear it happen and can figure out exactly where it is coming from (usually under the right side of the keyboard) i flip it over and fiddle with the screw. Seems to stop it for a while. I just installed the optibay last night so the bottom was off again. We'll see how long it goes without the cracking sound.
