Hey Everyone, I recently upgraded my Osx from 10.6.8 to Mountain Lion, and have been either keeping it on or simply restarting it for about 3 days now. But, I just shut it down for the first time and when I rebooted it I noticed that the brightness keys dont work, They were mapped to f14 and f15 (which i dont have on my mac) I remapped them to f1 and f2 and they STILL dont work. I checked around the web for possible fixes and nothing seemed to help. All other Function keys such as sound still work, only brightness is not responding. I tested it when i remapped it and I know that the key itself still works, just not the function. Also, I now have very limited display settings in Sys Prefs, I dont have a brightness slider and cant change the resolution...
I also noticed that now all videos, either online streaming or downloaded and played on Quicktime, also are very choppy, only getting about 5 Fps.
Anyone have any ideas?

I have MBP 13in Mid 2010 with 2.66 GHz Intel and Nvidia Geforce 320M256mb

Does anyone know of a way to at least get video fps back to normal?
It might be two separate problems
