MBP does not reboot... stuck at black screen

I just installed the Leopard Security update, installed and rebooted... first reboot in 1 week. Anyway, Now it will not boot. I get no Dong... Just a black screen... 🙁

WHat happend and How do I attempt to fix it??

The little light on the front comes on (the sleep light) and just stays solid

Did you hold down the power button for a few seconds to turn the system off completely and then try booting again?

Try removing the battery, and powering the unit on just with the ac adapter. If that fires up, shut it down and plug the battery in and try booting it again

You can try doing a PRAM reset also.

Well .. Same thing here MBP 15" C2D SR Blank screen after the same update 🙁 , anyone solved it yet ?

Does it stay black when u power it on? do you here the startup chime?
