I've had my Samsung 24" monitor hooked up to my MBP via DVI for a week and it's been perfect.

Just turned my computer on and it's giving ****** resolution on my Samsung, and detecting it as 1440x900 max when it's 1920x1200 Resolution!

All my software is up to date and I did do the firmware for the keyboard issue earlier but it wasn't straight after that that it happened I don't think.

Any ideas? Really bugging me!

You realize that you're trying to adjust the resolution for the internal display in your screen shot right?

No I wasn't adjusting the internal display. It doesn't show options for rotate or such on the internal, merely uses the set-up which you have selected as your main monitor, by putting the dock + tool bar on it.

I'm not stupid (Y)

Thanks Qjuu, looks like that's the problem. I'll have a look at it at work tomorrow.
