At the moment I have the stock 750 HDD in my 2011 MBP. I have both windows 7 and mac OSX installed. However I only use the windows partition for occasional office stuff (with MS Office) and also for some windows games nothing else.

I was therefore wondering if anyone knew if I could put my stock HDD in a firewire case that would be windows bootable and then say install an SDD/Hybrid in my MBP for my general Mac OSX stuff....

i.e. can I install and run windows from a firewire drive on my MBP?

Thanks
