MBP freezes when I log out, and close the lid

Hello,

My 2011 MBP freezes after I log out, and leave the lid closed for about an hour. When I open it, all I see is a blue screen, and the spinning wheel. Has anyone else had this issue?

Always reproducible? Is it connected to any external devices?

About the last 3-4 times that I have left it closed (for an extended amount of time) while logged out it has happened. After I force shut it off, and reboot everything is fine.

Oh, and no - nothing is connected.
