just out of curiosity.... i thought that the 2.2 C2D macbook pro model came with a 8400m GT graphics card... Not 8600m GT like the pricier models....

    2GB memory
    120GB hard drive1
    8x double-layer SuperDrive
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics with 128MB SDRAM
    Ships: Within 24 hours
    Free Shipping
    $1,999.00
or as low as $48 a month

How sure are you its an 8400m...

AFAIK, all macbook pros come with 8600m's. Bring it to the store?

It's true, just that the higher-end models have 256MB of VRAM.

If you check the specs from apple support, I can't find a C2D 2.2 that doesn't have the 8600.

NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 128MB of GDDR3 SDRAM and dual-link DVI
