MBP Graphics Card Question

Hi,
I Know this may be a questions most of us should know but I was wondering how good is the Graphics Card in the MacBook Pro 9600GT compare to the top end ones you find in the iMac and Mac Pro the 8800GT?

Which one is better and is there much of a difference? Also is there a big difference between the MBP with the 9600GT w/ 256Ram and the one with 512MB Ram?

The Mac Pro has a desktop 8800GT.

The iMac has a 8800M GS. That's a MOBILE graphics card.

The MacBook Pro's 9600M GT performs slightly worse than the Mac Pro's and better than the iMac's.

The 8800M GS < 9600M GT? No it isn't. Did you mean the ATI 2600?
