Just on a curious thought, anybody's MBPs experiencing heat issues that cause the fans to kick in so much that they power off instantly? And another question, if you do feel heat, where is it the most intense?

I understand searching is important, but I am mainly concerned about powering off instantly. My HP notebook does that when the fans kick in to a degree where they can't handle the heat or something. Is it the same with MBPs?

Yes, as dozens of posts in those threads will reveal. Hence, the search suggestion.

I'm searching through the many links you provided and I can't find one case where someone had his or her MBP shut off because of too much heat...

Do you know how to search a thread for keywords? The 5th thread on the list I posted is filled with references to heat-related shutdowns. There are many other threads, too, but you can search yourself. Just use MRoogle to search for "shut down heat".
