My year old macbook pro is useless on battery power because at any random moment it will instantly shut off, no warning. Always before my battery can get below 85%. Of course this issue comes up weeks after my warranty is done. My battery only has 34 cycles on it.
I know there's a lot of people posting about the same problem on apple's discussion boards I just wanted to see if anyone here is having the same issue.

Also my battery doesn't fall under the recall, battery updates 1.2 and 1.3 were installed and dont do anything, and resetting the SMC doesn't help.

Interesting. No, I haven't had any problems like that.

My battery problems are just the little time they actually last when not charging or plugged in :(
