MBP laggy after update?

I got a message to update this morning I didn't really read the message so I did and now it feels like the MBP is laggy? Could be my imagination but I think its running really slow. I did repair disk permissions doesnt seem to make a difference

welcome to the club mine is doing this after installing maya !!

my powerbook did this but i just carried on using it and it sorted, its self out sorry no help i know

any ideas ???
