I have a macbook pro with the backlight not working. I dont know if the backlight of the keyboard worked before (dont ask me why hehe)
What I have done so far:
SMC and VPRAM reset
I was on max osx 10.7.5 read some problems about it, upgraded to mavericks ( had it still under my purchases at app store). No results.
I screwed open the backpiece and I noticed that a small cable near the vent was not attached (with the gold square on it), I opened a MBP from a close friend and his was attached. Could this be the cause that my backlight is not working? I putted a photo in the attachement.
Hope someone can help me out, have been looking for hours.
