Wondering about how to do that. The normal controls are apparently limited to 600 nits. Lunar is not working (nothing happens at program start), but I thought it is not needed any longer...?

You can test the additional brightness by shining a flashlight directly at the light sensor (Assuming you have auto-brightness enabled). Otherwise, you’ll have to download a third-party app. I want to say one that people have used for a while now is Vivid

By default the system will only let you go to 1000 nits if you're in very bright ambient lighting conditions, I don't think you'll be able to force it without 3rd party software - Vivid is my app of choice since the M1 MBP :)

Thx guys, I got Lunar working again and also got Vivid now. Which would you say is a keeper?
