MBP memory what size is it?

Hello all, i've now got my first MBP all be it used but hey you have to start somewhere. My question is i want to upgrade both the HD and RAM. How do i find out what type of HD to purchase and RAM to purchase. Model number is A1150. How big a HD can go in and can it take say 4 gigs of ram?

After that is said and done is the left over ram compatible with an older iMac?
