Personally, I am not quite so fond of the MBA style keyboard. I use a macbook myself, and compared to the Macbook Pro's current keyboard, it certainly does not feel as professional. Besides, replacing the keyboard will become a pain.

I think it'll look pretty nice w/ a more darker gunmetal look. Maybe make the speakers go away. I'm sure they would be able to make it slightly thinner than the current MBPs, (obviously not as thin as the Air though LoL)

The full sized ports (dual-link DVI, ethernet, fw800) plus the slot-loading optical drive are always going to limit how practically thin the MBP can get.

aswesome dude

but that heading "the all new macbook pro" doesn't seem apple-style

try something like

"WHAT IT DO"

i dont get it...

they didn't announce at macworld because the new intel chips weren't available for the macbookpro. thats why they are launching on 26th at this special event a.k.a. Macworld Take 2....

is there really going to be an event? or is this still a rumor

i think the mesh on the speaker grills are going to different or differently placed. and the dark grey stroke on the end of the scree and the hinge are going to be MBA like.

The MBP will have a larger size trackpad just like the MBA. Using all those gestures on the trackpad will require it. I can scroll pages much better on the MBA than on my MBP.

Saw this on engadget. i take no credit for it.

So cool though. I'd buy it.

i agree that the MBP (when i go to the apple store) track pad is not very sensitive.
