hello all! i recently purchased a brand new macbook pro and i love it! long time user of the iPhone. i still have lots to learn about this. I've been using pc's for the longest time and i figured it was time for a change.

one question tho, i saw that theres themes i could download for my pro and i was wondering if i needed anything to use them. like, how the iPhone has winterboard and thats where you go to change themes and such.

also, is there a way to download free 'iTunes' apps like what installous does..?

As OS X is not that easy to skin (apply a custom theme), additional software is always needed. If that additional software is not mentioned on the page you want to download themes from, then that site is probably not worth it.
But you could post a link to that site in order for us to help you investigate further.

There are no iTunes apps on Mac OS X, maybe little add ons, which are already free. Do you mean, you want to download free apps from the Mac App Store (MAS)? If so, we cannot help you with that.
