Hello,

The laptop fans were annoying me, so I read somewhere I should reset the SMC. I did that by shutting down and holding Shift+fn+ctrl+power.
However, after that the MBP audio stopped working. The only audio working was at the start (when you have the white screen with apple logo).

I have no clue what to do to make it come back, obviously if it works at the beginning the speakers shouldn't be broken but I don't know where to look in the software 🙁

Thank you in advance for your help!

Check System Preferences > Sound > Output or OPTION/Alt click the sound/volume icon in the Menu Bar and tell us, what is listed and checked as Output Device.

Maybe this similar thread from yesterday can help?

Thank you Sims, somehow when I did the control/option trick and clicked the speakers, the sound worked again!! 😀
