MBP not remembering wifi

Anyone had a problem with MacBook Pro (older version) not remembering wifi? It's not recurrent: it's a brand new one.

don't meant to insult your intelligence, but in Sys Pref do you have the "Remember networks this computer has joined" option turned on?
