Ok so i removed the old Nvidia card G84-602-A2 and replacing it with the non defective G84-603-A2

Problem I have is this... When i heated up the old gpu and removed it I may not have heated it enough and i could have forced its removal

My Concern:

Is it possible that is all the solder was not completely melted that I also pulled up some of the copper (foil?) contacts and leads under the solder balls in the board?

Any light someone can shed would be great.

Is this on the early 2008 model with the GT 8600M? Because Apple replaced my entire logic board for free early last year.

Would it help if I posted a picture?

Yes it would help like 100%..

And yes again for your question. there's always possibility that you have forced the chip off. You have to try it first and when you feel it's moving you can take it off.
