I'm in the midst of a recording session and my MBP is displaying some weird problems. It was turned off since last night, I tried switching it on an hour ago.. it turned on with the 'sleep' light activated. It started up with the startup sound, etc - but nothing on the lcd.

I tried 'waking' it up a couple of times.. it apparently did so, but the lcd was still blank (dark) I restarted.. reset the PRAM, did the power reset thing - nada. Tried connecting a separate lcd monitor to it - still nothing.

The machine itself is working - I connected it via a firewire cable, and the laptop shows up as a hard drive on another mac. Any solutions guys? This is the 2nd MBP I am having a problem with. My 12" PB G4 was a much more reliable machine.

Ouch, great. Is there a temporary fix to this at all? I don't have time to take it to the store for the next week or so - if I connected this via an ExpressCard to a pci expander (with a video card in it) do you think it would work?
