    amazing...
after days im trying to figure out if im gonna buy the retina or the regular
mbp, i decided ill go for the non retina + upgrades
which are hi res screen and 256ssd(just matching the specs to the expansive mbpr) the price turnout more expansive, so why not taking the R?
    am i missing something here?

    thanks.

Because the base model is cheaper. If you're going to buy the base model and deck it out anyway, just get the retina and be done with it.

RMBP is cheaper if your getting one with an SSD, period.

    Upgradeability.

But yea, the retina is actually a good deal if you're doing all your upgrades BTO through Apple.

It'd be a lot cheaper just to upgrade the non-retina yourself. Just get the high-res screen and whatever processor you want and upgrade the SSD and RAM later. Save $100-200 easy.
