G gavd macrumors 6502a Jan 30, 2007 #2 Buying the cheapest isn't always the best idea. It's often worth paying a little bit more to get a lifetime guarantee. Most people recommend Crucial. I used Scan.co.uk to get some memory for my MacBook, but, I've since seen 1 or 2 people say they're not the best. However, they were fine for me.

AndyR macrumors 6502a Jan 30, 2007 #4 I used eBay after getting bitten by Crucials variable pricing in the past. Got 2gb shipped from the US for £95. Its Optival and has been perfect for 7 months so far.
