Mbp Ram

Hi guys,
I wanna upgrade to 4 GB RAM.
My MBP is a 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB RAM.
I bought my MBP in october 2006. Would I even be able to get 4GB in there?

Would this RAM work:

Not with the current Santa Rosa chipset.

You can put in 4GB of RAM, but the 2.33Ghz MBPs are only be able to use (up to) 3.3GHZ of that RAM.

I'm certainly no expert, but the link you posted looks right to me. The following two articles might be helpful:

Yeah I just called Apple and they confirmed that my MBP can only use 3 GB of ram:-/

Can you guys recommend having 3gb RAM instead of 2 GB RAM? I'm aware of the whole dual core thing, but isn't 3gb better that 2gb overall?
