MBP Redesign and Student Offer

Hey guys,

Just curious as to whether you guys think Apple would introduce the new MBPs before ending the summer student deal or not? The deal ends September 5th (in Ontario, Canada at least) and the new MPBs are rumoured for a fall release. It makes sense for them to release it after so that way they get rid of as much stock of the older ones, but they'd also be able to sell to the kids going to school and what not if they release the redesigned ones.

Just thought I'd see what your guys' thoughts and opinions are.

Best Buy has all MBP's for $300 off. I'm taking the plunge.

Some purchases (like mine) enables us to become BB Elite members, which is 30 day return policy.

Most likely not. I think they will announce it at the usual September event, along with the Touchbar API for developers, and release it the following month. They have released updates in July but they've been minor ones. A redesign will warrant an event.
