MBP screen dim on sides

My 6 month old mbp's screen on both the right and left side is dimmer than the rest of the screen. Maybe a backlight burned out? I sent it in once and apple said "can't duplicate." well now its worse. Anyone else have this issue.

There is also a thread here from a person that had proly a .25 of their screen dark.. I can't seem to find the post right now..

You are most likely out of luck. The problem is real and the problem for you is that there is likely nothing that you did not buy it from a place that will allow you to return it.

yea mine is darker than that. I happens worse after a wake though.

Mine does the same thing.. Its darker after a start up or sleep.. Basically coming from black or screen off... I'm exchanging mine with apple as we speak.. Good luck!
