I just noticed today that my 1 month old MBP has something weird going on with the screen. It looks like there are shadows coming from the bottom of the screen. I looks like 9 different shadows. Changing brightness levels does not help.

Any ideas?

Peace

Call applecare and tell them whats going on, most likely it could be a bleeding issue.

I was in the process of contacting Apple Care and now the problem is gone.....

Any ideas?

The screen is still ok... any ideas of what caused it to happen?

Peace

Mine is the last generation, not the new one. I have 10.5.6 and it still happened. I guess I will see if it happens again and then contact Apple.

Thanks

Peace

Didn't understand: did you see similar stripes? With my unibody I see something that resembles those stripes only on Frontrow (fortunately).

But I thought they solved the issue.

Yep... looked just like the pic. I had about 9 of them all across the bottom. It lasted for a little while then went away....

Peace

I had it happen to my last-gen Alubook at work once, it happened just as the battery was about to die. Once I plugged in the power and rebooted, it was fine. No damage.
