MBP Shutdown and missing item

Hi,

I'm running a MBP 15" and recently i've discovered that the count down timer when shutting down is gone.

Just wanted to know if it's anything i should be worried about.

Did you change something between now and the last time you noticed having a timer? Did you upgrade to Lion or something?

Nope, maybe the occasional use of terminal to kill apps.

Probably not, but then again, I've never seen my computer show a different set of options when shutting down, other than the timer.
