MBP skipping Montevina upgrade

    i was reading tom krazit's blog "one more thing" and there was this article about the new MB's and MBP's and how they are skipping the montevina upgrade and apple is creating there own chipset for the computers.....if they dont use the intel chips wouldnt the computer not work correctly with the windows operating system?
