MBP TB 13" Broken Display

Hi all,

Has anyone had any experience with getting the display on a MBP TB 13" 2016 replaced?

Apple won't give me an estimate without going all the way to a shop, and a few other websites are quoting around £650!

An expensive accident!

I have had several replaced with earlier 13" models (2014 and 2011). I had it done by 3rd parties shops and paid around $450 USD. Took an afternoon and worked fine both times.

i just had my out of warranty 2013 late 13" MacBook Pro Retina display replaced by the Apple Depot- sent from Apple Genius Bar appointment and then mailed back to me Fed Ex in 2 days. $511 with tax $100 + $375 + CA tax. Tried to get it replaced for free, but unsuccessful- previous replaced for "staingate"
